Together with our partners, Women Now for Development, elbarlament developed a guide on training participants online. The manual documents the experiences, the achievements and the challenges the two organisations faced within the framework of working with women leaders and activists in challenging conditions.
The added value of this manual is its focus on women, and in particular women in the Arab world. The majority of the experiences stemmed from the first year of implementation of the project “Women take the Lead”, but we also went beyond our own experiences in the leadership programme to integrate lessons learned – both positive as well as negative – from elbarlament’s as well as, other organisations’ experiences with online solutions to capacity building for women in the region.
This would not have been possible without the collaboration from our partners at Steps company, who had a significant role in creating this manual and conducting online workshops.
