Libgart Yasmin Ottens, Project Manager – Creative expression through films  

Libgart Yasmin Ottens (‘Lilly’) has been working as a project manager for elbarlament since April 2023. She is currently responsible for managing the socio-cultural project “Creative Expression through Films” in Lebanon.

As a senior consultant and desk officer at the German Foreign Office and the Goethe-Institut headquarters, Lilly has worked on international discourses and collaborations in culture and education, civil society, flight and migration, and equality/diversity. Lilly worked for the Goethe-Instituts Lebanon and Egypt from 2006 to 2013 where she managed projects in the fields of culture, education and development cooperation in the Middle East. Before that, she supervised TV productions as head of the audiovisual department of a media start-up in Stuttgart.

Lilly holds two degrees in Media Sciences and Business Languages from the Universities of Bremen and Tuebingen.

She speaks German, English, and some Arabic and French.
