The virtual exhibition Mosul Tells shows comics, animations, photographs and a puppet show as results of the project “Mosul Tells – Restoring community links through arts and culture”. It invites you to discover and explore the Ninewa plains, and serves as an online archive for Ninewa’s multicultural heritage.

Available in Arabic, Kurdish (Sorani), and English, we connect citizens across the country and beyond—making information and participation easy for everyone, everywhere. This was developed as part of the Democracy needs civic education: a civic education platform for Iraq.

Women Talking Peace: Shaping Iraq’s Future Together

The ‘Women Talking Peace Participatory Platform’ aims to inform and foster exchange between interested Iraqis and practitioners in the field of peacebuilding and women empowerment in Iraq and the MENA region as a whole. The project Women Talking Peace empowered Iraqi women to play an active, equal role in peacebuilding and statebuilding.

Baghdad Tahrir Art: a living archive of murals, photos, posters, and videos from the 2019 youth protests in Baghdad’s Tahrir Square and surrounding streets.

In the form of an interactive map, it links  each work to its original location, preserving the movement’s creativity and solidarity while protecting contributors’ anonymity. This digital exhibition honors the protesters’ voices and the power of art in shaping collective memory. It was part of the project Artists: Creators of social change.
