First workshop for Ukrainian women refugees completed

February marked the start of the activities of the Civil society and democratic experiences for Ukrainian women project. The 40 participants got better acquainted, reflected on how they see their  4 days we managed to get to know each other better, reflected on how they view their integration in the German society and discussed main democratic challenges and conflict-solving strategies. This was followed by two days of intensive learning about the German political system, current parliamentary situation and policy-making and organs of power.

We were very lucky to have Rebecca Harms – a former MP of the European Parliament and a great Ukraine supporter – as a guest speaker.
