Women, Peace & Security meet Climate Change

This week, we kicked off an online training programme for activists and civil society organisations from Iraq and across MENA — building skills, knowledge, and solidarity for peace, equality, and climate justice.

Highlights so far:
📌 1 September 2025 – Diving into the WPS Agenda and its links to climate change, unpacking Resolution 1325 through interactive exercises and lively discussions.
📌 3 September 2025 – Focusing on communication and regional networking — equipping activists with tools to strengthen collaboration and amplify women’s voices across borders.

💡 These sessions are more than just a training. They’re about building knowledge, skills, and solidarity for peace, gender equality, and climate justice in the region.

This activity takes place within our project Women Taking the Lead, part of the SPACE Programme, funded by the German Government and supported by GIZ and we at elbarlament are proud to be implementing it.
