Promoting integrity in Iraq

A group of men and women active in Iraqi civil society participated in elbarlament’s latest workshop on “means to promote integrity and fight corruption” from 25th to 26th September in Baghdad. The workshop was part of the project ‘Women think Iraq anew – elbarlament in Iraq 2019’.

Together they developed recommendations for both civil society organisations and governmental institutions. The recommendations were presented by Dr Bushra Alobeidi and Mrs Ban Thanoon to a wider audience at the RCD Al Rafidain Forum on 28th September in Baghdad.
