About Orient and Occident: stories for children und youths

Expressing themselves, forgetting the harsh reality of life in conflict-affected setting for a short time and letting the imagination run wild: In the framework of our project “Writing for life” female Iraqi authors wrote wonderful stories and poems for children and adolescents.

Combining texts produced during a writing workshop in Erbil in March 2018 under the direction of one of our experts, the writer and translator Fatima Sharafeddine, we have created a children’s book.
