One World International Film Festival

Alisha Molter, project officer of our project “Women think Iraq anew“, was invited by #EPD und the Czech Organisation People in Need to participate as a panellist in the #OneWorldFilmFestival at the Czech Permanent Representation in Brussels. On 29 April 2019, following the screening of the 2017 documentary “Women with Gunpowder Earrings“, Alisha presented #elbarlament’s work in Iraq and spoke about the legal situation of women in the aftermath of the war against ISIS as well as the importance of female leaders who want to shape the future of their country.
