Digital platform Ouraq is launched
Yesterday the civic education project’s digital platform Ouraq was officially launched during a conference in Baghdad. The event brought together more than eighty stakeholders from the different ministries and partner NGOs and was an opportunity to celebrate this important milestone and present upcoming activities. The conference hosted a number of interactive panels, gathering national and international experts to discuss topics related to civic education in Iraq.
The platform is available in three languages – Arabic, Kurdish and English – and is designed to reach a maximum number of Iraqis and those interested in Iraq. In the coming weeks and months, the Ouraq platform will continue to add further content, and engage with its users. In addition to launching the platform, elbarlament plans to provide training activities to citizens in both rural and urban areas on civic education and climate change and build a network of civic education practitioners through various activities.
