The “Democracy needs Civic Education – a feasibility study for a digital civic education platform” project is funded by the German Federal Foreign Office and implemented by elbarlament in Iraq.

This project’s aim was to contribute to the improvement of the social and economic situation of women in the Ninewah governorate through enhancing their involvement in peacebuilding processes.
The project offered a selection of women from all parts of Iraq the chance to learn about filmmaking and enables them to participate confidently in the cultural, political and social space.
