Last May we concluded the project “Civil society and democratic experiences for Ukrainian women<\/a>“. This fall, some of the participants had the opportunity to pair up with a member of the German parliament, following their activities for a full week, what we call ‘shadowing’.<\/p>\n

The feedback was positive from both sides. Here are some quotes from the participants:<\/p>\n

“The opportunity to observe the daily operations of the German Bundestag and witness the decision-making processes firsthand was incredibly inspiring. The direct engagement with Members of Parliament and their teams gave valuable insights into the complexities of legislative work and democratic governance.”<\/em><\/p>\n

“I really enjoyed the conversations we had in the Robin Wagener office, they focus specifically on Ukraine so we were already like-minded. It\u2019s an amazing opportunity for us to learn about the system.” <\/em><\/p>\n
